“Virtual Banding Demonstration”  By Master Bander Sue Heath

Licensed Hummingbird Bander Sue Heath will be capturing and banding Hummingbirds throughout the hour. In addition to seeing these feathered jewels up close, you will learn about their unique structure and amazing biology.

“Local Birders Sharing Locations & Tips”  - By Local Birders & Birding Enthusiasts

Recently retired from Texas Parks and Wildlife, Brent primarily worked with conservation of endangered and nongame species. He will present a program of all the amazing things about the ruby-throated hummingbird.

“Attracting Hummingbirds to Your Garden”  - By Ginger Easton Smith, Texas AgriLife Extension Agent 

Enjoy a presentation at the fabulous Coastal Oaks Garden the Master Gardeners have cultivated over the years. Ginger will walk through pointing out the native plants that are great for attracting hummers.
