What: Rock Solid - A new multimedia exhibit chronicling the Rockport-Fulton area’s journey through the last five years.
When: Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022
5 p.m. with a social gathering and book signing featuring the book, Harvey Hit Here +5, with photos and stories describing the before and after experiences of Hurricane Harvey. It is authored by Mike Probst, Editor and Publisher of The Rockport Pilot.
At 6:30 p.m., just when the outer edges of Harvey started rolling in, a special ceremony will be held to officially recognize the 5th year mark.
The Fulton Mansion will open their exhibit at 10 a.m. "It's Still Standing..." The History Center for Aransas County will open their exhibit “Weathering the Storms of 1919 & 2017” at 7 p.m.
Where: 319 Broadway St across from Rockport Harbor at the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center. Admission is free. Donations are accepted. Hours: Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Whether they experienced it firsthand or through news reports, local residents and visitors alike can enjoy this stirring story of resilience and the restoration of this coastal gem.
